Cedar River Watershed Tour

The funny thing about marketing myself and my other writer friends so much is I start doing it automatically for other small, local businesses and museums. So if you’re in the Seattle area and you like hiking, and you like history, you’ll love…

Tours in the Cedar River Watershed! I took one and signed up for more from the cultural history list, but there are nature ones as well.

For those unfamiliar with it, the Cedar River Watershed is an area that belongs to the city of Seattle that’s fenced off and kept undeveloped to protect the quality of the water that then supplies Seattle. Before the city of Seattle acquired it, however, there were logging towns and other interesting things there. I went on the Lookouts and Logging tour, and if you’d like to see the remains of such, annotated in my usual vaguely archaeological fashion, I’ve posted them online here.
